trying to fit obd2 enigne in obd1 lude

trying to put an h23a dohc vtec in my bb4 lude, what kind of harness would i need? do they make obd1 to obd2 conversion harnesses? or what would i have to do to my existing harness to make it work?

Go on honda-tech.com and look in the FAQ, there's a ton of info on this engine and what's needed to swap it because I believe you have to use a H22a intake manifold or at least the plenum so that you can use your old IACV.

I forget what all is different but it's just easier to use the H22a manifold. H23a isn't worth it for 0.1 extra displacement.

yeah, do you know by chance where the power drop of is? like the 22 is at 8, i wonder if the 23 is the same? because the redline is almost 1000 rpm higher, and its slightly more torque.

the only reason i kep going on about it is because there is an engine wearhouse no more than 10 miles from me and they carry both engines even f20b's for all about the same price. the difference is only like 20$

H23a only revs to like 7000, maybe 7500 tops, can't remember but pretty sure it's the same as the usdm H23a1. F20b is another motor that's totally not worth it, just a destroked H22a.
