Alright so I have been going back and forth on what suspension setup to get. Here are the options and reasons I am wondering
A - Koni Yellows and Ground Control Coilovers - Andy told me that the top rubber mount is very fragile and if it gets hurt at all it can throw everything out of whack.
B - Tein HA's - Can get them used for $700 but they are off a 5th gen so I am not sure they will fit although I hear about being able to swap 5th to 4th
C - Tein SS's - Would have to buy brand new which is way too expensive lol
whats the deal with kyb agx ? everyone recommends those ! but all the people i ve known that have had em didnt like em. I myself got tokico illuminas on skunk2 coilovers and its amazing. Altho kyb are cheaper than tokicos, i havent heard of a lot of people on here that have that set up, or a setup similar to mine ? So for all you kyb people, break it down for me, i d really like to know.

What about Tanabe's SS coilovers? I read about their "fit and finish" quality in an article in Import Tuner, they seem very meticulate when making parts. CanadaRed impressed upon me several times that the 5th gen shocks/springs can be applied onto a 4th gen, so what's stopping someone from putting those Mugen Showa's in a 4th gen?
i think it depends on your style.. tolerance and what you want to do with your ride. coilovers are the best if you plan to use them for what they are worth.. raising/lowering and the shocks should be matched to the spring. Tein HA are pretty harsh from what I heard.. if your roads are smooth and you got some decent side wall than then performance wise i think its the best based on what you have selected. Tein SS is the best of both worlds, they are softer and still you have the adjustability as the HA. I'm running Koni's w/sportlines and the only suspension i would trade them for are the SS's. I live in the west coast and never see salt.. only on my fries =P

they're good quality from what i read about 'em....
they don't have a set made for the prelude... but for the civics and integs that have 'em... i've heard nothing but great reviews about 'em... especially when it was compared with TEIN suspension... eveybody started to go with Hayame cuz of the quality and great price for 'em....

do you have to have a camber kit with that setup? i'm looking at getting the prokit or the sportlines, but i'm not sure which. i have an ingalls camber kit for the front sitting in my garage, but nothing for the back. how much do sportlines drop the car?
wsup. i actually am parting out my car and currently i am running on tanabe SOC Type II. Has very low miles on them and wouold take cash and trade of stock shocks for them.
