True short shifter

Sorry if this is old news to people, I'll delete this if everyones already heard of this.

shortshifter gb thread

I just came across this thread at h-t.com. Seems that this seller is making true short shifters for 4th gen preludes. Apparently they are very similar to the C's short shifter that are around $250(and that's if you can ever find them). He's selling them for around $100 which is a very good price for the item seeing as it's the only affordable true shortshifter on the market for 4th gens. I emailed him about the 4th gen application and hopefully he'll reply with some good news. I guess mabye if the gb for the accords goes well, we might be able to set something up for 4th gen prelude owners. Just wanted to hear what everyone thinks about this...I know I'm excited

I have emailed the guy who is making them. So far the GB is only for 5th gen Preludes and Accords. He will be having a GB on shifters for 4th gen Preludes and Accords shortly.

This is basically the C's shifter for 1/3 the regular price.

The guy selling them said he would email me as soon as the buy starts going. So I will post here when I get more info. He did say that the price would be about $100.

if you shift hard with it to any gear you will get a grind because it doesnt have the stock stoppers on the front and back that keep you from pulling or pushing it too far forward/backward....know what im talkin about?

Sounds like a great plan! Keep us updated and hopefully we can get a lot of buyers for these things to lower your costs.

If no one has one laying around to give you, I could try to take mine out. My car is parked untill april so it shouldn't be a problem. I'm sure someone must have an extra stocker laying around though...
