Tripmeter broke

Maybe it's my fault- I pressed the reset button while I was rolling at like 5 or 10 mph. Still feels normal if I press it. The odometer works fine, but the trip meter wont turn. Does anyone know if this is something I could fix myself? I really dont want to pay some dude just to take it apart and remount some cable or something.
Thanks
-Dan

Did you find a solution?

Sometimes mine resets to 000 when I hit the reset button and then sometimes it will not. I'll press it and the numbers will just get mixed up but not to 000. Press it again and nothing. I'll wait a bit and press it for the heck of it about 3 tank fills later and it will reset to 000???? what the heck?

Easy fix is to replace the gauge cluster.

+1

When my trip meter stoped functioning, I did the only logical thing you can think of:

El Gauge Swap.

I went from 127,000 miles on the odometer to 219,000 miles instantly. lol
