So i have a 1992 Honda Prelude S. The transmission is out and I want to know if the transmission from a 1992 Honda Accord will fit and run in a Honda Prelude S?

I've checked around, and everyone says it'll bolt up...but nothing specific..

What years of the accords will bolt up and run with the preludes?

What transmissions all around will fit in a fourth-gen prelude?

Because i hear Acuras fit as well lol

I believe all f series and h series transmissions are interchangeable. meaning you can use an accord transmission in a prelude and vice versa.

all h and f series trannies are INTERCHANGEABLE, except for the atts sh tranny, and s2000 transmissions.

So, i just got my tranny replaced, with a 92 automatic Honda Accord Tranny..but! When shifting, it's REALLY hard from Park to Reverse..is that the work done to it? or is it the tranny? or is it just the shifter thing..?

how hard is it to switch from auto to 5speed?
