Tranny problem. Any help....

I am having a problem with my tranny and was wondering if anyone might have any ideas as to what might be the matter. It seems like something is failing and it is causing me to not be able to get into gear. My clutch pedal still has normal pressure. I've found that when this happens, if I turn off my car and turn it back on, suddenly it'll work. Or if this doesn't work then I can turn off the car, put it into gear, then turn the car on. Sometimes the shifting will become very hard and 1st gear seems like it just won't hold till I get the RPM very high. It started happening a couple of months back and I brought it to the dealer. They said they didn't notice anything except that I didn't have a stock shifter. I just had then swap the tranny fluid, and went on my way. The problem then disappeared for the last couple of months, but suddenly it came back a week ago. I'm lost ar what could be the problem. Any ideas?

I had a similar problem and it was because I was low on clutch fluid and my clutch was going out. I put in an ACT street/strip and filled the fluid and it has been fine ever since.

How does a bad clutch feel? I guess I can check on my fluids too. Thanks

My car jittered real bad, and it came out of gear sometimes. I also had to sometimes pump the clutch to get the car in gear.

Definately fluids. Top them off and make sure you pump your clutch until all the air bubbles come out of the reservoir.
