Tranny leak?????

Anyone ever have to replace a tranny seal? I took my car for an oil change yesterday and they said that I have a tranny seal leak that seems to have just started.

I know they're not feeding me BS because they just do oil changes and aren't trying to get business and money from me. They said, "you may want to get that checked soon".

Have any of you guys experienced a tranny seal leak and if so, what did it run you to fix the problem.

I'm just dreading taking the car to the dealer because it can't get on the lifts! They'll probably rip off my front bumper.

94 VTEC with 77,000 miles.

Thanks!

Mark

They told me I have one....but it seems to have disappeared...

THey are changing the tranny fluid today...so I will ask them if there is still a leak. I'm at 100,000 miles...

Thanks for replying Satan!

Did you ever see the leak, or a drip on the ground? I haven't seen anything on the ground yet and since the oil change place has a pit that you just pull over top, I couldn't go down in the pit to see what they were talking about.

Let me know what they say about yours today. Hope they have good news for you!!!!!

Mark
