touch up paint?

This weekend i am going to be doing all the body work to my 92 prelude. it has several small dents in it and a spot where the previous owner had a sorry excuse of a bondo job that I have to repair. The car is black so I ordered some touch up paint on ebay. I am looking for some advice/pointers for making the touch up paint look decent. the pain in general is pretty sad. not much shine left in it and lots of paint fade (also getting touched up)

My plan is to bring it down to metal where bondo will be applied and do my body work then a few coats of sandable primer and smooth it out then a few coats of paint. Any other steps??

for the paint fade and other imperfections in paint I am going to sand it smooth and use primer again and paint.

Am I going to be able to buff this out to make it blend, or should I just clean it and wax it? I want it to lookk as nice as possible till I can afford to paint it in spring.

thanks
chris

do some research on feathering and blending paint. It can be done with decent results. Good luck to you mate!

I did some research and it looks like I would need a base/ clear kit instead of the single stage spray can I have. Am I mistaken? Can it be done with a single stage spray paint?
