Top speed

WHats are top speed for our cars, Si and VTEC. Seen a 5 gen video and the needle said 150 but I'm not sure about that.

I've had mine to 140+ (probably about 143-4) before the rev limiter kicked in, on a few different occasions.

I lived in Germany for three years and had my 'lude' two out of the three years I was there. I drove it on the Autobahn everyday. I would normally cruise at about 110-115, but I pegged it a few times on this long downhill stretch of road that I used to travel.

Man, I miss Germany!

I'm not sure what the top speed is exactly in my 4th gen. I just got a new motor and topped it out the other day. The speedo went up to 140 easy, and i was only at 5600 rpms...i got it up to 6450 rpms which is an easy 145+

Your speedo is way off. I think the si is gear limited to about 138. 5th going about 140 is at about 7000 rpm's for a si.

ive hit hte speedlimiter many times on my 4G with a JDM H22a... im gonna get it removed... i hit it around 190Km/h... and thats at jsut over 5500rpm in 5th gear, and i can run till 7800?

so im curious.. anyone?? how fast is the JDM H22a??

btw... this should only be performed on a closed road circut.. where it is safe to exceed the speed limit... right???
