Top Speed

I have a 93 Prelude Vtec with CAI, SS Header, High-Flo CAT, ACT Street Clutch, Xact Prolite Flywheel, and 4Bidden's Short Throw Shifter. Last Night I was on the e-way and I wanted to see if I could burry my speedo(It was pretty easy ) I was just wonderign how fast was I really going?(Bounced it off the limiter )

only can do 139 in my "stock" 96 vtec. :P i know that dont help you but whatever lol.

i can reach deep into the 150s..not quite 160...probably like 158 or so, i know because i was neck and neck with my friend corvette, and he was doing a registered 165 on his speedo.....and if you figure out the gearing to speed in my case i should top out right at 160..im a 4th gen JDM though

what engine speed were you running at at that actual speed?

the stock gauge is very innaccurate. Hook it up with some GPS and try this again. I thought the stock fuel cut off was 132 or so

By the math, I should be hitting rev limiter at 152.

I believe stock H22's will hit like 139.

hmmm, what tranny ar eyou running? because my n/a built h22 on an m2a4 tranny i hit 8000 at under 150

wow, i buried my speedo at only 7000 rpms..and i went all the way to 7900 in fifth and was still pulling

when i run the long course at the local track i peg the speedometer and tach at 140 w/ an H23 w/ all the bolt ons.
