tokico hp shocks installed

just installed tokico hp shocks... and i'm kinda disappointed... i can feel the handling is got better but when i go over bumps... it stil bumps and makes that bangin noise... when i push down my car... it bouces... but i wonder why it still makes noise whenever i hit a bump... is there any rubber pieces that suppose to hold the rear bumper support 'cuz i'm thinking when the shop installed my stock bumper while back... they forgot to install it 'cuz it started making that noise... but i always thought it was my shocks 'cuz i lowered my car at the same time... someone please help!!!

shoud have gone with the adjustables. I got the illuminas, and i m prtty damn low, with the settings on full stiffness, and it helps a lot with the bumps and i dont even rub now, cause the stiffness holds the car good goin over bumps. The car doesnt make those noises u were talkin about. I had that on my stock shocks. Maybe you should check the bolts for your control arms, who knows, they might not be as tight as they should, cause my clackin noice came from my shocks, and once they got replaced everything was fine. Just check everything out first, and also check in your trunk if you got some stuff thats loose and that could be jumpin around. I dont see anything that couldmake a bangin noise if u got new shocks comin out of the rear, someone add some inpu to this, i cant find anything.

'cuz i heard that rear bumper support is tightened by the bolt in the trunnk right? like under the spare tire? i'll check into that tomorrow... thanks for your reply...

Did you change the shock bushing when you did the shocks? Bushing is the reason for the shock knock.

did you cut the bump stops? the little orange things at the top of the struts, under the black cap. YOu have to cut those things when you lower. There is less suspension travel, if they are not cut you him the earlier - something you do not want to do
