Toasted battery?

Some of you may have read about my car being "possessed". Well, I used the tranmitter to deactivate the alarm, and then roll-started the car. Id rove around for like 10 miniuites trying to give the battery some juice, but it wouldnt start when I gave it tried to crank it. I cleaned and tightened both battery terminals, and drove around some more. Still no luck. When I drive the car, whenever I push teh brake pedal, the headlights dim and the A/C fan slows down. All the warning lights come on why I try to start the car with the key. Any suggestions? I'm thinking maybe the battery is toast, because obviously the alternator is still working.

Yeah , It's time for a new battery. I have had some limited success with resurecting dead batteries by sticking them on a 1/2 or 1 amp charger for 24 hours or so. Sometimes they come back to life for a few months. Sounds like this won't work for yours, but it's worth a try!

Heh, I was gonna say that my car came with some Ghetto-Alarm(tm) and I have the same wiring issues, it looks as tho the wiring was done by a bunch of drunken monkeys, crap connections and wires everywhere. I'm gonna pull the dash out this summer and pare out all of the alarm wires and solder all the factory stuff back together with some heat shrink. I keep thinking that ****ty alarm wiring all over the place is a breakdown waiting to happen...
