Guys I have some questions regarding tire size for 4th gen.. my first question is .. will 235/45/17 tires fit on 17 X 7" rim and since i am planning to lower the car about 1.5-1.8 .. will the tire rub againt the fender ? Secondly if u guys think 235 is not a good choice .. then what size would be best (225/45 or 215/45) ?

235/35 is too large for the Prelude.

215/45 is the best size IMO.

Wouldn't 215/40 be the ideal size for a 17" wheel, because 215/45 would be significantly bigger than stock. Unless you don't mind the changes that go along with a bigger overall diameter.
