TimingBelt/Waterpump overhaul parts help

hi , i have a JDM 92 prelude Si and i need to change the timing belt and all other belts soon and the water pump,, even thought it appears and functions ok, just for good measure and peace of mind. My problem is that i cant seem to find parts like belts and specially the water pump for my stock
H22A motor, no upgrades/aftermarket just all stock oem..

I need help or tips if any other year/USDM EDM? parts like from the h23a1 is interchangeable for my h22a(no number after)..

BTW i bought a auto to manual TENSIONER kit from IRP.com for good measure

I'm going to ignore what you wrote about the transmission conversion. thats a whole other thread of conversation.

Realistically, I will advise if you are going to change the tranny, pull the whole engine. With the timing belt being replaced as well, it'll be easier to do everything outside of the car plus clutch etc.. Might a well get an exedy organic stage1 or better. if your flywheel is worn most ppl like OEM as it keeps rev's high to engage vtec when shifting.

For the parts for the H22 VTEC - assuming this is the engine you have ( you didn't really clarify ) get these:

Balancer Belt
Tension Adjuster (its $100 at least on its own from Honda, do NOT skip replacing this part or you'll be sorry)
timing belt
water pump
balancer belt
auto tensioner bearring
balance belt tensioner
cam seal while you're at it for where oil usually leaks on the passenger side (in your case driver side) of the engine all over the tranny. get an aftermarket tri or quad o ring one.

Here's a great kit with all you need:

HONDA PRELUDE SH WATER PUMP TIMING BELT KIT H22 VTEC 99 on eBay.ca (item 380100323460 end time 26-Aug-09 13:34:08 EDT)

Also grab this:

Honda Automotive Parts

Part 23 in the picture, Automatic Adjuster. I couldn't find one on Ebay so order it from Honda.

It's a PITA to pull the engine out, but its equal pita to do timing belt AND transmission with block still in the car. Once its pulled out you'll be able to do the labor quite quickly and have much more room to do the manual swap. Trust me, it hurts the knuckles doing it with the engine in car.

Good luck, take pics let us know how it works out.

I would buy this kit from DCH Honda of Temecula, CA, for $234 shipped. This kit includes EVERYTHING needed for a timing belt job EXCEPT for the crank pulley tool, coolant, and the auto tensioner. Since you have already bought the manual tensioner parts from an H23 motor to do a conversion, that's about everything needed.

ok im gonna cut to the chase, what is the part number and where did you buy to whoever replaced a JDM H22A water pump or kit or whatever, and i mean genuine JDM h22a, not h22a1-4/h23a1......please im going to be working on that area of the engine and i might as well deal with the waterpump too.
