Timing Belt walking off solution - Honda Prelude Forum

Anyone ever have any problems with the timing belt trying to walk off of the cam gears on a H22 ? Everything has been replaced- timing belt idler assembly, water pump, ballancer belt idler, hydraluic tensioner, timing belt, adjustable cam gears. Any solutions??

I had a Friend with a similar problem with a manual tensioner. He came to find out that the tensioner was not aligned properly and that was causing his issue.

put my stock cam gears back on , problem solved, the aftermarket gears were machined wrong.

what aftermarket gears were u using? just so i don't buy the same ones...
