Timing Belt question....Decked h23 block.
I had to redo my camgear oil seals, and now I'm having trouble putting on my timing belt back on right. I noticed that when i took off the timing belt off, that the 5mm punch bolt holes were slightly off on the cam shaft holes.
Now that i lined those up with a 5mm punch pin, and put on the timing belt on, i rotate the crank pulley and put the camgears to tdc and now the crankshaft tdc is slightly off on the flywheel inspection hole.
Is this supposed to be off by a little since the block was decked?
