Timing Belt ? concerning valve cover

Do I have to remove the valve cover to replace the timing belt? I'm about to get real angry cuz I just replaced that gasket two weeks ago.

yes, the valve cover needs to come off to do the timing belt. Don't worry though, you can reuse the valve cover gasket if you just replaced it. it will be fine.

hey bro.....after talking to you concerning your VSS..im not sure if you wanna tackle the timing belt...its not quite as bad on the h23 cuz u dont have the auto tensioner...but, you have to be sure to line up the balancer belt and the timing belt, on the cams exactly right....just be very careful and take your time

Like Dr J said you can just reuse the gasket it is just rubber. I have taken off my valve cover a few times and with out replacing the gasket and have no problems at all. Have fun with the crank pulley bolt.

Liquid Gasket is your friend.

I have some kickass stuff called HondaBond, its used it honda parts depts.
