Belt and tensioner were replaced back when I did my rebuild, around novemeber 2002, it did the same thing back then, and it went away slowly after like 5 months, then, recently after I readjusted the auto tensioner, it came back... First I thought it was my powersteering, which it could still be, but it sounds like its coming from the timing belt as everyone elses... Same noise as everyone else I assume.

And yes my exhaust is GOD AWFUL, ever since I removed the cat and put the straight pipe, its been so raspy, waiting on funds for RS*R

This is also on the 5g board, but just wanted to post here as well since not everyone reads every board on here.

Apparently after replacing auto tensioner and timing belt, the noise is being made by the timing belt being too tight.

Videos will show you what I mean.
