Tightening A/C belt?

Anyone happen to have done this? Mines squeeking... and i'm pretty sure its loose.
Whats the difficulty? and how do i do it?

I tried the "soap trick" and that worked for a hour. hehe now its squeeking bad.

Tighten the A/C tensioner. . .
Eh, if you have ahelms or a Chiltons, it should have the procedure and recomended deflections for the A/C belt.

ya, i did it.. still squeeking. ima replace the belt.

But ****n.... went to Advanced.... 24 bux for the belt?! i think the guy was pulling up the wrong belt.

are you sure its the A/C and not the power steering pump??

which is which? got a pic ? =] ... its the top belt.... thats only connected to 2 pullies.

It squeeks when i put the A/C on.....? heh

the top belt is the power steering belt, and the power steering pump usually if its making those noises it means your pump is going bad....

well...... while the car was running.. and that pump (the one thats connected to that electrical mass on the front, above the to the right on of the header. That belt.... while it was running i put liquid soap on the actual belt, and it killed the squeeking instantly... then after a while it started squeeking again..... that leads me to think it isnt the power streering pump.

hahaha you lost me bro.... the belt second under the left near that higher than the headers to the right... take a pic it'll be clearer..
