Tie rod arms differed for 4th gen?

Tried to replace a balljoint boot on the tie rod of a 94. I'm guessing the boots differed for the 4th gen. I noticed that hap.com as well as slhonda has 2 part numbers for the boot.

This is the part I bought
53546-SD4-003 BOOT, TIE ROD END

New part left, old stock right

Outside diameter bigger for old stock

Also the c-clip for the new part goes on the exterior of the boot while with the stock part, the c-clip is within the boot itself. The size of the c-clips are also larger for the stock part.
