It should be pretty straight forward.

Remove air intake,
unplug TPS
remove throttle cable
remove throttle body (buy a new gasket for both tps and tbody)
take off TPS
put tps on new part (with new gasket) ... you'll need a multimeter to adjust the tps properly .. do a search for what voltages. (you can just swap it but run the risk of degraded perforamance and poor idle)
put tbody on the IM (with new gasket)
torque to spec.
plug in tps.
hookup throttle cable.
put back air intake.

go for a drive.

** since your using a larger TBody, your air intake may not fit ...

The TPS is the sensor that is bolted to the backside of the TB, it is black and has a 3-pin molex plug attached.
Removing it is kind of a pain in the ass. I just had to do a ton of work to my TB and TPS b/c of a crappy idle. The TPS is riveted in place and will have to be drilled out. I would imaging that your new TB has threaded holes to remount it in. There is some play in the mounting which allows for minor adjustments.
Like Yohan said, there is a voltage setting that it needs to be calibrated to.

----SPEAKING OF---- I need that info myself so I can stop tweaking mine every day in order to get it right. I also need to know which wire is measured for voltage, with motor running or not. It would be a big help.-----------

BE SURE that you get your TPS correct, or as mentioned, your car will either have a fluctuating/oscillating idle, or it will stick when you let off the gas.

Good luck with it!

You can bypass the Fast Idle valve (the device that is attached to the OE throttle body; this device makes the idle higher in cold temperatures making the car warm up quicker).

To bypass this device you can purchase some new coolant tube at any parts store. I think it is 1/2 inch tubing....MAKE SURE THAT YOU BUY COOLANT TUBING AND -NOT- VACUUM HOSE! You will need about 12", and buy some new hose clamps; the Honda ones kind of suck.

The two connections are an coolant input and output. The input comes in from the Idle Air control valve (IAC) which is the device bolted to the front of the intake plennum. The output runs from the fast idle valve to the engine coolant housing (located just below the ERG valve; and houses the main thermostat)

All you need to do is cut your coolant hose to length from the output of the IAC and run it directly to the thermostat housing. Bypassing this device should not result in any major complications, no sensors are on the fast idle valve, so logic would suggest that removing it would not set off a CEL. The only drawback I can imagine would be that in extremely cold weather you might have to hold the accelerator upon engine startup to get the motor running good since the fast idle valve will not take over. It will also take the car longer to warm up in cold weather.

Let me know if you have other questions. Hit me up on AIM if I am online: JIVEaneurysm

all H22 models (JDM and USDM) and the H23 use the same throttle body.

Ok screw it i gotta make this work somehow. I bypassed the coolant line... some people do this alone as a mod... I have to

Ok last problem

What to do with the vacuum line that is plugged into the throttle body on the top of it.. its a small line. Can i just plug this and get away with it?

My car is OBD 1 if that makes ne difference...

i don't know much about vacuum lines, but if you have any nipples on the intake manifold plugged off, maybe you can use one of those
