For those of you w/ auto planning to do a manual swap or have done it

I've got a '95 Auto Si , and plan to do a manual swap in the future, but I want to know how much the parts will cost, then the labor, etc.. I've heard it's a ****load of work, but in the end I'm sure it'll all be worth it.
So have any of you done an Auto to Manual swap, and if so were you pleased with the results? What were the 1/4 mile time differences?

Any of you know of any links where I can buy all the parts I need in a package to do the swap? Any input/feedback will be greatly appreciated, as I'm sure there are many others out there like me that have auto and would love to do a manual swap...thanks.

Damn...no wonder not many of those swaps are done. I wonder how the heck the guys that have done the conversion got all those parts! Anyway, I went to a reputable shop today and the mechanic told me if I got him all the parts he would charge $285 for the labor of the auto to manual conversion, and it would be done in 2 days. Is that a pretty good deal?

Well...this is the list LudeConduct put up on HP.com..however I think the reason for the front is cause the radiatior for vtec and auto are different in the 4th gen..apparently there are holes in the radiator to cool the tranny and they need different mounting...i think that why and for the firewall, I assume its because of cutting through and adding the cluth pedal etc

hey dennis, who's doing your swap in nyc? are you going to full throttle?...i asked them that before and they quoted me $1000 for an engine and tranny (auto to manual)swap...so but i'm having doubts about them though since my friend just got back from them and they kinda messed up his car....so he had to go back again and get another tranny from them no charge....let me know which shop you going to....

dennis
