I NEED them to complete the setup with my JDM heads. I have seen the extra harness before that is attached to the turn signals. My question is how do they go on and off? I have seen people selling the switches, but if I just plug them in will they just go on and off with the headlights?
Well, since you have a 93, you can put a paper clip in the harness inside the tweeter area going to each wire that actually switches them on. You also need the relay for them to work. If you just plug them into those harnesses, they won't work.

The relay will put power to the fogs ONLY when BOTH the switch is turned on, AND the headlights (lowbeam) areturned on.
when the high beams come on the fogs turn off.
this means tha tif low beam headlights aren't on, no foglights ..
to get the fogs working .... plug them into the wire harness splitting from the signals ... hook any generic relay (4prong ) up to the relay socket in the dash ... and put a paper clip bent around to join the on/off wires in the wiring har ness for the switch ..
oh yea...SEARCH .. this has been covered tonnes ,even most recently...
what, your fogs stay on with your high beams?? Hmm... that's not right. They're supposed to turn off, it's actually illegal to have them on with the high beams (even though I want that ). I may have to try this paperclip thing instead of my switch and see what happens.
interesting, i did not know this. i m about to get some jdm fogs, so if i have a 93, all i need is a relay, and plug em into the plugs, splittin by the turn signals and connect a relay, and they should be comin on with the low beams ? i hardly use my high beams and in florida noone cares anyway.
