For those with the WWRS lip, i got a few questions

I know the wwrs lip mounts with just 3M tape, my questions is

1) how much of it do you need and where do they recommend you putting it.

2) im wondering if there is a speical kind of 3M doulble sided tape that you're supposed to use, or is it all just the same thing....

3) if you decided to take it off, does the 3M tape mess up your original paint job?

thanks in advance

Mine was installed with pieces of the 3M double sided tape (red packaging) and we also used screws to secure it on. I wouldn't just trust the tape only...

Hmm... they usually come with the doublesides tape already installed on it...

But i don't see why you ask if you take it off will it screw up the paint, but it does...

Best way to do it is use the tape and get self tapping screws and screw them all around (not just the wheel wells) and then saw off the head and sand it down, put a little primer on it and then paint the lip... it'll hold pretty damn well...

but don't just use tape (in vegas with the 120 degree heat, it started to sag)

mine is held on with just double sided tape...used 3m industrial outdoor tape, all the wya around the inside edge. Mine has been one for about 3 months or so with no problems, i scraped it once, and it help up fine with just tape. No sagging here...
