I use red Raybrig bulbs for the turn signal... they are extremely red, not pink at all. They are also very bright. I highly recommend them.

I still have my stock white bulbs in. I haven't been pulled over for my signals at all, I think the cops in MN are too lazy to even bother with it Project Prelude's LED bulbs sound pretty sweet though. I might consider doing that! Good call Project Prelude!

I use the colored ones, but don't have them on now. You are right about mpls police; they have "crime" to worry about, whereas 'burban cops look for stuff like this

I never even thought to change the bulbs, I just left the stockies in. I like the LED idea though.

LED bulbs

I got a set of these things for my signals, and they sucked...they just showed up as little round red spots in my signals and were barely visible in daylight...I've actually been looking into doing the whole turn signal with an LED array a la Cadillac STS (ya know, that ****e with the nightvision), they have led taillights. Probably wouldn't be too hard to slap a bunc of led's on a breadboard type of thing with the proper resitors and all that nonsense, we'll see. Let me know if you've got some LED experience and have any ideas or suggestions for me.

gonna clear my tails

I plan on clear'in my tails one of these days
I have leds in my rear bumper and they look pretty good
They have 4 LED bulbs on one board , and they are red as ****

you could pretty much wire anything together as far as your own goes, u can use this http://linear1.org/ckts/led.php to find out what resistor you need to wire in

id say get around 4000-7000mcd for the brightness
you can get leds just about anywhere
frys electronics has a wide selection

im gonna try and clear out my signals this weekend

Like I said in a thread days ago, somehow, someway, they LEDs made my signals blink faster. Ricey..but hey..I wanna keep it legal with the red LEDs.

Another thing, true that in the daytime, the LEDs aren't as bright, but night time is another story.

What I wanna see is like speeding honda said...a whole LED board like the Caddys. Those are WAY too sweet. I'll work on that. Seems simple if you have the right parts.

Yeah, there is an entire write up on hondaprelude.com. Otherwise just do a search and look through past threads here; some people posted some really good ideas on how to make the whole process easier and faster. Good luck!!
