those w/ aem intakes

does your intake have 1 or 2 ports for the vacuum lines?

mine has only one....which I ended up having to plug once i installed my H22A

If you don't have a port where it connects to the TB, don't worry about. Just leave that vacuum line open. It goes to the starting air valve which only opens at startup.

hm....the thing is, i am in CA and i won't pass visual w/ a hose not connected, the old AEM has 2 ports

Seriously? lol. It has nothing to do with emissions, just gives the engine a bit more air at start up I think. Then it closes. I'd just put something sticky, like putty maybe, and temporarily attach it to the intake and tell them you drilled a hole Then pull it off when you get home from inspection

i don't think it will too, but CA smog crap's been giving people hard time here, will drilling a hole be an option?

use ur oem intake or borrow one... should only take 10 min to swap in and out...

Mine has two ports but I plugged one of them (it's a rubber-y piece that fits over the port and seals it). Dunno what it's for, but the car still works, so who cares? (Oh and I passed emissions too)
