To those with rear swaybars

Calling all rear swaybar owners -

I need your insight on what brands/dimensions you are using, and if there have been any fitment issues.

Specifically I'm looking at the tendancy for the "left" side rear subframe swaybar mount to "crack" at the bolt points because of the additional stress.

Anyone else have this problem?

I have a a whiteline 24mm solid adjustable swaybar, to suit 4ws. Note that the subframe cracked on a middle setting, not stiffest. To fix the problem, I had the mount point plated and seam welded on.

Thanks!

yup i had suspension teqniques solid bars the front and rears ripped off the car during an auto-x. i ended up selding new 1/2 inch thick plates to the frame, then drilling and tapping in M8 bolts, having budged since, its an undertaking but there alot more solid on my car now

What are the thickness of the bars? The old Neuspeeds were 28mm in the rear, and notorious for ripping out.
