19's are probably doable, but not worth it (I've seen a few in the past). When I bought my 2nd prelude it came with 18's on it & a 225/35 tire (very thin sidewalls) & they just barely fit. It looked great, but got rid of them for some forged 17" wheels which saved me 10lbs per wheel & the performance improvement was very noticeable.

A bit of both. Boost will take care of the addition rotating mass.

I'm not sure who 19" wheels are supposed to impress, because people who know anything about cars and performance certainly won't be. But if your aim is to pick up high school girls, I guess I can't argue...

sorry about the random picture sizes, I'm not good at computer. This should give you a little idea of how various sized rims look.

Here is my car with 18's

Here is my car with 19's so I could pick up high school girls

sold the 19's to buy my current rims....sooooo small

To me, the size you have now looks really good. MHO.

are you dropped? lots of people overlook the fact that dropping a car and having like 18s or 19s will make your wheels look absolutely massive - not to mention you'll have to worry about potholes and such. i personally hate huge wheels on sports cars.

it's like a girlfriend with HUGE feet... or something.

slo mo - i like the look of your car 1000x better with the "small" wheels.

19s look great, but 18s might be a better option for you.

I had light 18's for a while and loved the look of them but would never recommend them to anyone that cares about ride comfort. I would stay with 17's, i only got my 18's cause i got a good deal on them, 200 for 4 5zigen Imperio 5's. So ya dont get 19's

Depends on what you are going to do with your car. If you run a full body kit, 18s are ok... 19s will look nice. Its do-able. You will need to run 215/30/19 tires. With 30 series tires it will be very rough. Also with such thin side walls ur gonna have more of a chance of dent/bending the rim. I run 18s and have no problems what-so-ever. And yes it might not be the best size for autocross/track, but if it is a street car/show car then it will look nice. Its like all the VW guys that run staggered setup on their golfs and jettas. I laugh since they are fwd trying to look like rwd, but people jock them lil golfs/jettas on 19 inch hre/iforged wheels.
