There's water everywhere!!

Well.. Since SoCal has been raining for a bit. I removed my seats because it smelt like rain in my car . I found the carpets being wet. I checked the sunroof for leaks, but it seems to be coming from the bottom. Whats going on?

Thanks
Randy

check your windshied molding, and rear window molding. I had that probem when i first baught my car 3 years ago. The sealing wasnt good, so i had silicone put on for the mean time and that fixed it., the i had 3 days of rain in my car about a week after buyin the car. Front Driver side, passenger side mats and carpet were soaked, and both rear seat, inside of the buckets, along with part of the trunk were soaked. I had the whole windshied redone, to find out that i had major rust holes and leaks from the windshied and back window. What happens it the water gets in throught the windshield and leaks throught the doors, on the side and gets on the floor, same for the trunk. Thats why it seems weird that only the floors are wet and nothing else. Nothin to do with the roof.

I bet if you take out your door panels u ll find some water in there too. check out your trunk, look inside the spare tire area, water should be in there too if your back seats are wet. IF the trunk is clean, then your problem is only up front and i can bet its the windshield.

now i got the molding fixed with fiber glass, and a new moldin from honda, here is the the pics of the damage i acutally had.

Dreaded Rust problems

i had my front windshield replaced, they didnt redo the molding which saved about $200, but not the molding just looks like crap and wont "sit" down anywhere. is it hard do do the molding yourself?
