there is something wrong with my car, but where to look HELP

Yesterday was my first time at the track in my Automatic 1992 Si with intake, exhaust, and aem pullies. It ran an 18.2 now I know that the altitude and the automatic would slow me down, but I know it wouldn't be that much. Yes I am doing the auto to manual swap this summer hopefully but there still has to be something wrong with it to be that slow. Where should I start looking? Compression Test, valve readjustment? I don't have a lot of money to get it checked out either. Oh and the engine has 153,000 miles on it but is well taken care of.

when was the last time you had the tranny fluid flushed?
That could probaly help.
I would check the compression and the valves clearance as well.
If you havent already, I would replace the spark plugs, wires, rotor and cap.

Sorry about the time, thats embassaring
