Before you flame me, I am not talking about the H23A1 ( USDM ), H23A3 or the H23 Vtec. I want to know whether there was a JDM H23A or not ?

Going by this thread , there seems to be no mention of this engine.

However, some places including HMO - sell this engine sell this engine as the H23A.

I also found one such engine on ebay

So is this an F22B ? ( JDM F22B Valve cover looks similar to the USDM H23A1 ). I have seen lots of F22B's and H23A3's for sale, but this engine was much harder to find. The Ebay seller in the link had an F22B for sale too ... so it might not be as simple as a simple F22B rebadged as a H23A.

What are you talking about? My thread clearly shows an H23A.

It's pointless to own. It's identical to the H23A1 (minus KS), H23A2, and H23A3. Sadly, if you look on ebay for JDM H23A engines, you'll find tons of European H23A3 Accord engines being tagged as JDM Prelude engines. There's no difference but it's still sad.

Yes there is such thing, I had one in my previous 4th gen. There is a thread on Honda-Tech where I posted pictures of it. If I remember correctly the H23A non-vtec came from some australian market honda.
