Testing 4WS

Ok I know the 4WS is in or near the trunk somewhere, but how can you test if it works. I'm not even really sure if I have one, don't they come standard on all USDM SI's except for 96.

First, the only Preludes that came with the 4WS option were the Si's, made in 92 and 93.

You should have a 4WS sticker on the trunk like this:

You will also have one of these on your dash:

And last but not least, your tires will do this:

The is a sticker on the drivers door jamb that says 4WS, and the extra 4WS fuse in the underhood fuse box.
4WS only came in Brittney Blue-Green, Black, or Red.

Could be true, but I have never seen one.
I would love to get a 94+ electro cluster with the 4WS light.

4WS 4th gens are hard to find as it is but the 94 4WS model is the rarest since it was the last year. I forget who it was, but someone here had one and I've seen a few for sale over the years.

4WS rocks. The reactions I get when people see the rear wheels turning are awesome.

an easy way to check is to turn on your car crank the steering wheel and see if your rear wheels moved

When I bought the car I didnt know what the hell 4WS was, but I remember the guy sold it to me said thatt it is a 4WS. I was like "hell its a prelude it doesnt matter if it did or not." Now I'm pissed that he lied to me and it isnt 4ws. Looks like GMC isnt so innovative with their 4 wheel steering SUV. Thats 10 year old honda technology.
