Temp Odometer stopped moving

I reset the temp odometer to zero (the only that only goes up to a thousand) at the gas station as I do every time, this was about a week ago, and ever since it hasn't moved. Could this just be because its cold out? I have no idea what to look for as far as this so if anyone has had this happen to them please let me know.

okay, maybe i should post something - this is a common problem. i read a few posts in a thread a while back about how people's had been stuck for like evar - mine has been stuck for atleast 4 months now. unless you really need it - i wouldnt worry about it. if it bothers you that much im sure you can just hit it with a hammer 3 times, but not 4 times. (because the 4th time you will break something)

Common problem, mine was stuck @ 571 miles forever. You have to take the cluster out to fix it though.

FYI: Its called a Tripometer. (Trip-ahm-e-ter)

Allright, thanks for the help. It bugs cause I like to keep track of how many miles I'm getting to the tank of gas, but it's not something I'd kill for. Maybe if something ever breaks near it I can use it as an oportunity to fix it.
