Temp gauge not Working...Help please.

The transmission recently went out and i had no time to try to do it myself so i had to go to a shop to get it done, but now that i have the car back the temp gauge doesn't work. I know it could be a small fix but i don't want to go back to the shop and have a problem that i did not have before. I just kind of get that feeling and i know a couple of people who have had some bad luck with shops recently it might be going around...Damn economy.

Well anyway, during a tranny swap would there be any reason to mess with a temp sensor, if so can anyone tell me where it would be located or show me a link to where i can find that info, id appreciate it.

also if anyone knows another reason that might be happening i'm all ears just in case

Thanks

It's the single wire sender on the passenger side of the head, kinda right behind the coolant exit neck. If your gauge just keeps reading cold than it's most likely just disconnected.

Good luck

yo man you were exactly right. If you were a shop i would say that was a whole $60 worth of work man.

Thanks a bunch
