tell me should i get this

ok, i found a h23 head, ported and polished, 68k miles, the shop that did the job is Cleggs Machine in Orem Ut, asking for $400 + shipping

should i get it?

If the porting and polishing was done well that is a pretty good deal. I would look up the better business bureau in orem and call to see if they're repuatable(sp?) and then see if any import shops recommend them...because if they are not familar with import setups then you may have more of a loss rather than a gain in power!

I would see if they rebuilt it also with performace retainers and springs or if they left stock on also.

$400 for only the bare naked ported and polished is good... since to port and polish your stock head would be $800+ make sure its really been machined and worked tho, and ask them if they used a flow bench. Also, since it being a NAKED head, why not throw on some Crower Internals? valves, springs, & retainers??
