well, heres the deal. i will be putting on my suspension soon and i bought my tein ss already. i bought it a while ago, like at least 3 months ago. and im finally gonna put it on after i do body work to my car soon. but i cant help thinking, should i sell my tein ss and buy the tein flex? is it worth the extra money? im guessing ide have to pay $450 more to get the tein flex after selling the tein ss. edfc compatability is tempting. maybe i could invest that $450 into strut bars and it would more worth the money? what do u guys think? is it worth the trouble?

damn dude, I can't keep up with you! Where exactly do you live again? Because they don't grow money on trees where I live, so I may move Lol, maybe if you stopped choosing all the parts I have installed, we'd have no beef Jeremy's got a point to ask, unless you plan to race or auto-x (I know, i know, we ALL want to enter the honda challenge in our cars, but it doesn't happen as often as we'd like), you should probably just save your $450 for the next part that I buy first :P

hahaha. lets just have everyone know this. 4thGenReady2Go is copying all my mods! he copied my rsr exhaust, my neuspeed strut bar, my dc sports header, and lets see if he copys my high flow cat too! hes just trying to be like me. i dont blame him tho...
anyway, i dont really plan to autox, but it would be nice to have suspension that i know i could enter a autox with. i mostly use the car for daily driving. pillowball mounts come with it, edfc compatable and full length adustment. its also teflon coated for rust prevention. im just not sure if its worth it. cuz when i buy things, i like to buy the best, or close to the best with a reasonable price. how much do u think i could sell my tein ss for and how much are the tein flex systems going for now so i could see how much extra money i would have to spend to get the tein flex. i just dont wanna install the tein ss, then realize i made the wrong decision.

btw, midnight, you comin' to PA for the natl. meet? If that's the case, and you think you wanna track it, well, I dunno, I think it'd still be a better call to go for the ss and spend your money elsewhere, but those pillow-ball mounts sure sound nice, I change my mind, go with the flex.
lol, NOOO go with the flex!! Hehe, j/k man, you'll be fine. Now I gotta go buy a set of ss and be just like you lol. Anyway, are you going to the meet?
Go with the flex. I was debating the same thing, and the flex offers more adjustability and it comes with the upper pillow mounts. You can also use the EDFC with the flex

yea, i know.... but its a lot of money. if i look at the big picture, i would be spending a lot of money on suspension. i dont think its necessary... $1300 is a lot of money for just suspension... thats like over half of the tein ss more. im just starting to think its not worth it. how much better can it handle. i just like the edfc...
and 4thgen, i really dont think im going to the meet cuz its way too far away. for me anyway.
if i had the money i would get the type flex. i talked with a guy from tein at the nopi nats and he demonstrated the edfc. all i can say AWESOME!!!! i was talking to him about how i had kyb agx and on my car. he said he did too at one point and then he put the flex kit on there and it was night and day. just think about it.....in car ride adjustability. thats going to be my next mod. anyone want a set of kyb sux i mean agx?

damn you people, its hard for me to decide now.... i want the flex but the price is kinda high for just suspension. the adjustability is nice but im not sure if its worth it. and its like $300 for that edfc.
i pretty much decided im just gonna keep my ss. screw the flex. theres not enough difference between the two and i dont know if i would like to spend over 1300 for just suspension. im not rich. so the SS is for me. with the 400, i could get other stuff and make it handle better then just getting the flex alone.

Exactly...it's kinda like all the 5th Gen guys who ran out & bought Tein HAs, and felt that they were waaaaaay too much for daily driving, especially if your roads aren't like glassy smooth. I've got the SS's, and they beat the SH!T out of my Neuspeed Koni yellows...and even those were damn good.
