hmm if u say ur friend with a 5th gen has it, maybe the website is wrong. Since it says both 4th and 5th gen have no room for the EDFC.

Here's 5th gen information... supplied by me lol

I measured today and the rear have plenty of room on a 5th gen for the EDFC as it take 4.2cm of clearance above the strut... so:

5th Gen Prelude EDFC Fitment Information
Tein Setup - EDFC Capability?

Tein Basic = NO
Tein SS = NO
Tein SS-P* = YES
Tein SS w/pillowmounts = YES
Tein HA = NO
Tein HA-P* = YES
Tein HA w/ pillowmounts = YES
Tein Flex = YES

* - the -P indication states the Tein setup comes with pillowmounts and are not an option. The setups that come w/ the pillowmounts are slightly diff and have diff model numbers.
Here's my thread... the final info is 1/2 way down.
