Taking the whole front dash from another prelude?

I was thinking of transferring the whole front dash from another prelude but realized that the VIN # is attached at the part that blows the air at the front window.

Is the part where the VIN # is attached can be seperated from the front the Dash?

yes, i swapped my entire interior to black, just drill out the rivets that hyold the vin plate on, and the screw your vin plate onto your dash with screws, works fine..peace

because the VIN set your car apart from the rest, its your cars personal identification. If you got pulled over and the cops check your vin number and it doesnt match the rest of your cars...they'll say its stolen parts and tow your car away...a bunch of hassel

How did you remove the front right airbag? There must be a screw somwhere underneath.
