Tailight and interior light all out!

This is how it happened: when I tried to use the paper clip to light up my foglight because selling the old fog switch, it didn't worked the first time, so I burned the plastic at the each end of the paper clip, and tried again, and it worked. I done this while opening the door, and the warning tone (ding dong..) for turning off the headlight is gone, and what is worse is the tailight is gone while headlight is on.(it still light up when I brake) each front corner light is out too, and also all interior lighting is gone including cluster!

Anyone experienced this before? I heard from my friend that he said that might be the tailight wire got burned, and every easy to fix. However, I've checked, not sight of it. Really needed help!! THANKS!

I had that problem a few years back, i had to take it to the dealer, in short it is the wiring from the fuse box in the drivers kick panel, Dealer only charged me $89.00 i got a break cause the mech. just soldered the wires back together, it came from salt on the snow. CORRRSION A new fuse box w/ labor was around $1200. I hope yours is a simple as mine to fix. Good Luck

The yellow 20 fuse under the hood. Mine blew the first time I hooked up my fogs.

Are you going to use a switch for the fogs down the road?
