How do 4th gen tail light covers come apart? I want to take out the yellow filter.

Put them in the oven at 300 wrapped in a towel for about 10-15 minutes and make sure you keep an eye on them. Then start prying them apart with a small flat head screw driver and use the heat gun as you pry...but dont point the heat gun directly at the glossy part(the red lense) it will discolor it.

I blow dryer will work. Just don't hold in one place for that long may melt the plastic.
