System makes 3rd brake light rattle; how to stop?

My subs in my car are making my 3rd brake light (above rear windshield) rattle like crazy. What have some of you done to stop the noise?

Try a little bit of Dynamat. I'll look at it later and see what can be done

he's talking about the 3rd brake light thats inside the car.

in my situation, i just pried housing a bit so it doesnt make contact with the windshield. that did the trick

Take your system out ... they're evil. I had a bad experience w/ mine, for the 2nd time and just gutted my damn system. Subs will never go NEAR my car again. Neither will expensive amps. I know, I know, that's not practical for most of you guys, but systems just mess everything up.

I took a little bit of dynomat when we did my doors and cut a .25" square and just stuck it around the base of the cover. It does the trick. Now I just have to get my Rear deck panel to stop shaking! Just stick something in there and it should do the trick. It isn't pretty but it is better than the rattling!
Good luck.
Let me know what you did
Andy
