It's weird how two people post topics closely related in a short period of time. Not ragging on you, you just missed that "rare jdm item..." post not too long ago. It's an OEM option in Japan, it's a bumper pole that extends much like our radio antennas do, but this one only when you press a button, it's for parking and creeping up to a wall, so you know how close you are. There's a small motor which fits inside the bumper, and the antenna and it's mount on the top of the bumper on one corner of the car, when it extends, a light also comes on.
