swapping in vtec. will my exhaust work?

i heard the flanges are different and the bolts are too. im a machinist so i can fix that i could make an adapter but is that true? is there anyway i can use my h23 intake/exhaust manifold if need be. just to get by for now. i can always use my tb from the h23 i heard its bigger too. would i benefit from port matching my h23 intake manifold? is that bigger too? i havent seen my new engine yet so im psyched!

your old exuast will work, but it will be short so you have to tug on it to get it to bolt up to the header

yea u should be able to use your exhaust. port matching the intake manifold would be a good idea, its not hard to do with a dremel tool and sandpaper.

You wont be able to use the h23 exhaust manifold with the h22, And the intake manifold wont fit from the h23, all the bolt paterns are different, although you can use the tb.

The exhaust manifold won't work. I have no idea about the intake manifold though.

And, the stock H22a B-pipe is larger than the H23a. Plus the flanges to the cat is also different. I just cut it off and welded a short pipe to connect the two.
