i think the vents by the headlights just look horrible and pointless. does anyone else agree? well anyways i found some lights on ebay, i'm not sure if they are suppose to be fog lights or driving lights, that replace those front vents by the headlights. Has anyone seen or heard of these and if so i'm looking for a pic of them actually on the car so i can see how they look before i buy them.
Anything other than the vents there looks so ugly, those ebay lights look especially bad. You have a spot on the car where the OEM ones belong and it isn't way up there.

Not really, so much more air comes throught the bottom of the car.
If you think those vents make a difference, then you are naive.
actually it's joe, naive's my middle name...
may not be a huge difference, but a difference none the less. it's like if u hold ur nose and breathe, u can still do it, but it's more comfortable not to.
but yeah those ebay lights look cheap, and are ugly imo.

Really? I dare you to try it. Your engine temps will not increase if you cover up those vents. You can't use the stock water temp either because it's so inaccurate.
Your oil temps won't rise a significant amount either. Trust, they're there, they just don't make a significant difference (meaning more than a few degrees).

those vents are also there to help cool the engine

You stated it cools the engine. It certainly does not. Sure, technically on paper it allows more air to hit the radiator but at what point does it actually matter?
Certainly not enough to say a blanket statement of it's "there to help cool the engine".
Your second post is more accurate.

That makes two of us. i stopped in to check out some new insight on anything and this is what i was left with. BOO! let me know when yall decide to talk about something worth while. the itr comment was about the only thing that caught my interest. Lets expand on that! I've seen one prelude with the headlights that covered the vent wholes and it wasn't the best looking. but different none the less.
nah guns are overrated and secondly you wouldn't be able to aim good unless you added a motion detector. blah. should definately go with some projectile tire spikes. <img src="http://www.preludeonline.com/images/smilies/laugh.gif" alt="" title="Laugh" class="inlineimg" border="0">
