i have a question and i could find the answer by searching....

i have a 93 prelude with the h22a1 in it, its a 5spd. a friend of mine overheated the engine and now im sure the block is gone.....


the question is can i drop in an JDM h22 in place of my old USDM h22a1??

would i face any troubles in the wiring, transmission, ecu,etc ?

or should i just try and find a usdm h22a1?

No, it's a direct replacement, just use your old fuel rail since the RHD one will have the connector for the pipe on the wrong side. You might want to find a JDM P13 too, fuel and timing maps are slightly different but a lot of people use the USDM one and it works.

Oh yeah, use your old distributor as well.

man what a relief.....thanks a lot dude......my friend has a spare usdm chipped p13. im hoping fuel maps can be modified though.....
