Question I've been dying to ask for ages but never have so here goes (sorry if this sounds stupid!)
I know what shocks do, and I know what springs are for. Lowering spring lower the car and shocks can adjust the ride stiffness. What I'm not sure is what 'coilovers' are for. Are they a combination of springs/shocks or what?

Answers on a postcard please!!!!
I might mess up on being all technically correct but when you have coil overs you can adjust the position of the spring to change the ride height while with springs you cannot, but the spring is smaller usally so it is stiffer and the ride is stiffer than with springs(assuming same shocks).

I have the same setup. What do you have your shocks set at? I'm trying to find the best balance between comfort/floatyness, and bumpy/"on rails." I have mine at 2 in the rear and 1 in the front, but the front seems to float over bumps; the rebound isn't as controlled as the compression.

Fronts are at 2, backs are at 3.
You've got your set really soft- so its going to have a smoother ride, but less handling. increase by one and then drive it to see what you think. If you still don't like it, increase it by one more. It will get pretty stiff though as you get towards the #5 setting.
