vtec isnt all its cracked up to be is right. i dont know why ppl think its like a turbo or something.

VTEC isnt all its cracked up to be?...

If you cant notice VTEC kickin in theres something wrong....
My Vtec spins its wheels when you hit VTEC in 2nd.....

Big increase...

yeah, mine dosnt spin tires when it engages, its just having a mild low end and a wild upper end. you get good gas milage, while having a wild cam grind for upper end. put the same spec cas in a h23, you have a ****ty low end, but it will have 190hp upper end.

Not quite, the H22 also has slightly higher compression pistons as well.

Yep i spose my Tyres arnt that good....

Some crappy Falken 215/40/17's...
Still the point I was trying top make is that there is a big increase when VTEC cuts in.....

Its probably not just my tyres, the JDM spec H22a probably has more of a 'kick' to it...

Hey,
Are they the Falken aziens? Cause the grip really good so that would mean you got some beastly power My JDM H22 doesn't chirp tires when vtec engages, and I have falken aziens. It feels like it wants to spin them tho. These cars are sweet

If you don't hear or feel vtec when it kicks in their is something wrong w/ur car sure... VTEC won't ususally throw you back into your seat but it's definitley noticable when it kicks in....even stock.

im at 4000 rpm when im going 80mph and i dont have a vtec
