Sunroof Swap

Ok, my mother has a 96-97 Accord Aerodeck. Its the same colour as mine and is being sold soon. I want to know if the sunroof will fit my car as its glass.

Any ideas?

Only one way to find out for me...I would take it off and swap it to see if it fits. Only a suggestion.

I'd guess all you would have to do is measure them I'd really love a moonroof like on the 5th gens, but Its not to handy if you dont have the nifty cover they come with in the 5ths.. I guess sunroof isnt so bad though, Its so strange to be in a car w/ out one.. i was driving around my rental and it was so strange not being able to open the top hehe..

I've seen a moon roof on a 4th gen, looks great, but i dont know.. think about not having that cover there when your driving during the day, its gotta be a pain having to deal w/ it.

What kind of moonroof did you put on there? I would love to do that to my 94 Si. I was told the 5th gen moonroofs wouldn't fit.

this has been covered before.

http://preludeonline.com/search.php?...der=descending

I HIGHLY doubt any other model of sunroof/moonrof will bolt right on to the 4th gen, without serious gaps and leakage. There were glass sunroof kits available, but they have been discontinued and are virtually impossible to find. Last one I saw on Ebay went for like $400.
