Sunroof Inop

Sunroof quit working on my 93 VTEC. Electronics work and sunroof barely starts to open and then it stops. Had it looked at today and they want $300 to replace the sunroof "cassette". How hard would this be to do by myself? If it is going to be a pain I might just leave it b/c I am taking pictures this weekend to try and sell it.

its not hard at all. take off the sun visors, the pillars, rear 3rd brake light cover (the big black plastic piece behind the headliner), then open the sun roof with the crank tool inside your tool kit in the trunk, take off the lining around the headliner where the lid closes, after that use a panel popper and carefully take the head liner down. from there u should have full access to the entire sun roof assembly. If u need to take out the lid, there are 2 small screws under the lid one on each corner in the front, take those off, then use a panel popper and pop out the tabs for the sun roof lid cover and there will be 8 10mm nuts holding the lid to the track.

What exactly is the cassette? Depending on how completely you're replacing everything, the labor should not be beyond any novice's ability.
