Mine has a small Honda emblem on it, so I would assume they come from the factory. Unflorunately, mine came on the car when I bought it so im really not much help.
I used to have one on my previous 4th gen that I added myself. I think they were an option but you can also get them from places like R&S Strauss or Pep Boys (that's where I got mine from). You just have to measure the width of the sunroof opening and make sure you purchase the one that fits our opening. They come with 3M tape and an alcohol cleansing pad. Simply clean the roof area where the vent will be applied and peel the backing off the tape and adhere it to the roof. Mine was on there about three years without a problem.
I believe they are made by VentShade and cost about $29.
yeah, if you ever go above 90 then it will shake like crazy, not to mention that it will mark the paint underneath it. i used to have one on my car, don't really recommend it. it will scare you to death.

I'm not pushing him to get one because I don't have one on my current Prelude (I think it looks better without it), but I never had a problem with mine. It helped eliminate the wind howl at high speeds so I was happy with it.
Mine attached with brackets and bolts, not tape. It started rattling a few months after I bought the car, so I tightened the bolts and never had a problem again. I've since taken it off and found out the paint underneath is pretty ugly, but no rust, not even close.

The factory deflector used brackets than tape like aftermarket ones. I think they go for $40 from the dealer. When i took mine off I just wetsanded and polished the paint - came out looking like the rest of the car's paint.
edit: I liked it when it was on my car - really reduces noise if you have your moonroof open. I think it's more of a functional piece than aesthetic
Oh for sure, doesn't rattle in the summer when the sunroof is open but even still, hit about 140km/h its a horrid horrid sound.. opening moon roof still is noiser than not having it on at all.
I never did think about tightening it but it seemed pretty tight to me ... kinda makes me wonder how cheap it is since the one on my 85 prelude never rattled even going 170km/h.
i have the oem deflector, mine doesn't shake. it's ok on some cars like my accord, but i wouldn't put it on a lude or any car that has the tilt feature in the sunroof.
